Congratulations to Year 7 student Declan Fleming-Garfitt on making the Playford District SAPSASA Football team and competing in the State Carnival last week.
Declan spent last week at West Beach competing against the other districts. Playing a total of 9 games over the three days, they were able to dodge the rain but had to deal with the other weather elements making it challenging to play. Declan said although the weather made it difficult, the team was really nice and encouraging with the highlight of the carnival being when he scored a goal.
Well done Declan, we’re all super proud of you for making the District team and representing Mark Oliphant College.
