On Tuesday the 1st of June, MOC sent two teams to compete in the Northern Zone Netball Carnival at Argana Park.
The year 8/9 team did well, especially since they had no subs. They demonstrated great teamwork and the ability to receive feedback well. After winning their final by 1 goal, they came 5th out of 14 teams.
The Open team saw great success over the day, demonstrating great flexibility in court changes, working with different combos. Special mention to the year 12 students for showing great leadership to the younger year levels and being great role models on the day. The girls only had two close losses, coming 4th out of 9 teams.
Thanks to Miss Wesson & Mr Ellis for coaching the girls throughout the day and for showing enthusiasm. You’re feedback and encouragement was valued by all players on the day.
