This year the secondary sports day (Year 7-12) will be held on Thursday the 7th of March.
It will be at the Munno Para Little Athletics Centre (Kooranowa Reserve, Vincent Rd, Smithfield Plains SA 5118).
Students will need to find their own way to and from this location, unless organised otherwise through the school.
As the day runs on a tight time schedule, it is required that students start to arrive from 8:15am -8:40am.
This is due to a new sign in process that requires students to be ticked off the roll and given a coloured wristband with a personalised code.
Students are encouraged to dress up in their house colours, as long as it’s appropriate and still allows them to participate in the athletic events.
Sunscreen and water will be supplied at the event, but students will be required to bring their own drink bottle.
There is a canteen facility but it will be limited, students are recommended to bring a packed lunch or the day.
SSO’s will attend the event to administer daily medication to students between 11:00am and 12 noon as per Health Care / Medication Plan.
Students who suffer with asthma will be required to have medication on their person and will be required to self-administer as appropriate. Trained and experienced staff from First in First Aid will be on site to assist with all medical requirements.
