VET – Vocational Education and Training

What is VET?

VET stands for Vocational Education and Training. It combines hands-on learning with industry-relevant knowledge, helping students develop practical skills for specific careers—often while they are still at school.

As part of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), students can undertake VET that falls within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). The SACE Board recognises VET as a valuable way for students to build meaningful pathways towards employment, further training, or tertiary study.

Why choose VET?
