1B Learning Update- Miss Ciufoli

This term in Mathematics, we have been focusing on addition. We have been working hard to build our skills in fun and hands-on ways. One of our favourite activities was making colourful addition ladybugs. We made different totals and wrote matching number sentences to show our thinking.We also loved spending time in our classroom supermarket. We used our addition skills to work out the totals for our groceries, and we practised skip counting to add up the coins.

In Week 8, we had an exciting time at swimming. We learnt important water safety skills, including how to float and what to do if we need to be rescued. We all had a turn wearing a life jacket, blowing bubbles, and practising our kicking with noodles and boards. It was a wonderful week full of learning and fun!
