From the Principal

As Principal of Mark Oliphant College, I am deeply committed to nurturing a safe, inclusive, and collaborative learning community where every child and young person can thrive. Guided by our values of Respect, Kindness, Belonging, and Responsibility, I believe that strong relationships and a sense of connection are the foundation for success. Every day, I am inspired by the opportunity to lead a community that celebrates diversity, empowers learners, and supports each individual to live a fulfilled life of their choosing.

Mark Oliphant College is proud of its strong community presence and the partnerships we build with families. We work collaboratively to support learners across every stage of their educational journey, striving to provide a seamless and coherent learning experience from early years through to senior secondary pathways.

The strength of our College lies in our people. Our passionate and highly skilled teachers and leaders are deeply committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for every student. They continually refine their practice, innovate within curriculum delivery, and enrich learning through a wide range of co-curricular opportunities. Our teaching staff are supported by a dedicated and professional team of paraprofessional and support staff who play a vital role in ensuring high-quality service for students, families, and staff alike.

Our work is guided by our core values of Respect, Kindness, Belonging, and Responsibility. These values underpin the way we learn together, interact with one another, and build strong, positive relationships across our College. We celebrate the individuality of each student and are proud of our diverse community, representing more than 66 cultural backgrounds. This diversity enriches learning, fosters empathy and understanding, and prepares our young people to confidently engage in an increasingly interconnected and globalised world.
