This term in 1C, our students have been working hard across both writing and mathematics. In writing, our focus has been on developing opinion and persuasive texts. Students have explored various topics, forming their own opinions and learning how to support their ideas with clear reasons.

In mathematics, after building strong skills in skip counting, we have now shifted our attention to place value. Using the base 10 number system, students have been learning to identify and represent numbers using hundreds, tens and ones.

Well done to all students for their continued enthusiasm and effort this term!
