Positive Behaviour for Learning Year 11 & Cross Disciplinary
At Mark Oliphant College, Cross-Disciplinary Studies align with our vision of developing capable, connected and curious young people who are prepared for life beyond school. This pathway integrates learning across subject areas and is grounded in the new SACE Capabilities and key drivers, ensuring students develop both academic understanding and essential life skills.
Students are supported to take an active role in their learning by setting goals, making informed choices and engaging with learning that reflects their interests, strengths and aspirations. This approach fosters independence, responsibility and self-motivation, while still providing guidance and structure from teachers.
Cross-Disciplinary Studies provide flexible learning opportunities that support students to build a strong sense of identity, purpose and belonging. Through this pathway, students develop the skills, values and dispositions needed to be respectful community members, engaged learners and confident lifelong learners
