Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up
To support the safe and efficient arrival and departure of our students, Mark Oliphant College offers three convenient drop-off and pick-up locations around the College perimeter.
Western Car Park Drop & Go
Located at the rear of the College
Our purpose-built Western Car Park has been designed to improve traffic flow and provide families with a safe and convenient access point.
Features include:
- Over 200 parking spaces
- Two Kiss and Drop zones to keep traffic moving
- Direct pedestrian access into the College
- Parking available for parents and carers who need to leave their vehicle
Douglas Drive Drop & Go
Located at the front of the College
Douglas Drive features a 2-minute Drop & Go zone for the quick and safe drop-off and pick-up of students.
Operating Times
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
- Morning: 8:00 am – 9:30 am
- Afternoon: 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Wednesday
- Morning: 8:00 am – 9:30 am
- Afternoon: 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Please note:
- This is a Drop & Go zone only.
- No parking or waiting is permitted in this area.
- Drivers must remain with their vehicle at all times.
- Once students have safely entered or exited the vehicle, drivers should move on promptly to help keep traffic flowing and ensure the safety of all students and families
Newton Boulevard
Newton Boulevard provides an additional option for families with:
- Parking available for parents and carers
- A designated Drop & Go area for convenient student access
Supervision & Gate Times
To ensure student safety, all drop-off and pick-up locations are supervised by College staff.
Gate opening times:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
- Morning: 8:00 am – 9:30 am
- Afternoon: 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Wednesday
- Morning: 8:00 am – 9:30 am
- Afternoon: 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
