On Wednesday 12th April, Mark Oliphant College sent 59 students to compete in the School Sport Track and Field event at Athletics SA Stadium.
Having won the event last year, we were promoted to F Grade Div 1, competing against 8 schools including Seaford, Eudunda, and Hamilton Secondary College.
Throughout the day, we had many successful performances, which culminated in extremely dominant relay results winning, 7 out of 10 age group relays.
As a result of this dominance, we’re pleased to announce that MOC were overall winners on the day! In addition to the overall win, the boys won the overall trophy and the girls were runners up.
CONGRATULATIONS to all the students who contributed to our success at the event!
Our win means we will be promoted to E Grade next year, and we’re looking forward to the challenge! This day would not be possible without the tireless efforts of Ms. Kaesler who managed the huge task of event nomination.
