On Wednesday of Week 6 the Year 10 Boys and Year 9/10 Girls soccer teams travelled to Service FM stadium to compete in a series of soccer games.
The Year 10 Boys played 2 games against Roma Mitchell’s Open Boys team. While they didn’t win either game, the boys did very well to implement the tactics we have been practicing during training sessions. They also applied themselves brilliantly with only 1 sub available and playing against a team which included Year 11s and 12s.
The Year 9/10 Girls played 2 games against Roma Mitchell and Playford College. The girls beat Playford College 4-0 in a great game, and while they put up a good fight against Roma Mitchell they were eventually beaten by a very good team which again included Year 11s and 12s.
Well done to all the students. We are now looking forward to the upcoming games against Thomas More and Craigmore in the last few weeks of Term 3.
